Student Philanthropy Month

March is Student Philanthropy Month — and 91ý offers two exciting ways for you to participate!

What is Student Philanthropy Month?

Each year in March, CU students are invited to come together to celebrate the power of giving. In 2024, students raised $3,860.12 for the campus community during Student Philanthropy Month!

Thank you for participating in Student Philanthropy Month 2024! We can't wait for next year!

What is philanthropy?

Philanthropy /fəˈlanTHrəpē/ (n): The act of promoting and advocating for the prosperity and welfare of worthy causes through contributions of time, talent or monetary donations.

Philanthropy is a collaborative donating effort that aims to help humankind — in fact, the word itself means “love of humanity.” Every contribution counts!

Support Campus Causes

Want to get involved? Join the Herd Leadership Council (HLC) and student organizations across campus by contributing to key campus funds.

Student groups selected funds that are important to them, so you can find one you’d like to support. To learn more about the causes student organizations are amplifying, visit the 91ý crowdfunding page.
