Check Your Degree Progress (Audit)

What It Is

A degree audit report is a tool that tracks degree requirements. We recommend reviewing an up-to-date degree audit every semester to help yourself stay on track toward graduation.

A degree audit:

Identifies your academic/degree requirements & applies college-defined course rules.

Lists your transfer credits & cutbacks for repeated and equivalent courses.

Provides hypothetical, "what-if" degree information to show how your coursework would apply to a different program.

Reading a Degree Audit

The text at the top of the audit includes the date and time of your request, your student ID number and name, and your degree program and catalog year.

Requirements are specific areas of coursework that are required for a degree program. Three different indicators appear on these sections for requirements that are complete, in progress or unfulfilled.

Clicking on a requirement expands the view to display its sub-requirements. These are more specific requirements that are also needed for the degree program.

Completed Sub-requirements

Completed sub-requirements show a summary of the class used to fulfilled them, including the term taken, course number, credits earned, grade received, course title and where/how it was taken (if not at 91´«Ã½).

Incomplete Sub-requirements

Most incomplete sub-requirements show a "select from" list of all 91´«Ã½ courses that meet the sub-requirement. Click on a linked course number to view the catalog description. You can use this list during enrollment to choose courses that meet the requirement(s).

Indicators

The degree audit processes courses against different policies as defined by the college or university. An indicator will appear next to the grade on the course to alert you that an action against the course has happened. The legend provides a brief explanation of these indicators.
