Helpful Information for the Visit

Travel to from Airport and within Boulder

Uber and Lyft rides to the hotel and from hotel to the airport will be reimbursed.Ěý

You are encouragedĚýto use the RTD bus from the airport to the . The closest RTD bus stop to the ECON building and the hotel on the airport (AB1) route is at Broadway and Euclid. Moxy Hotel, the ECON building, and “The Sink” restaurant are located on what’s called “The Hill” in Boulder, all easy walking distance from each other. Other city buses run up and down Broadway regularly. The best “hill” stop going up the hill (south) from downtown is Broadway and College. The best “hill” stop going down the hill (north) towards downtown is Broadway and Euclid. The closest stop to your hotel is the Broadway and Euclid– about a 6-minute walk.

The SKIP bus runs up and down Broadway (the main road in Boulder) and is $5.50 for a day pass. It is a local route, more aboutĚý.

Costs in Boulder

Boulder is a little bit more expensive than surrounding towns in the “front range” area. A typical dinner usually starts at about $15 to $20.Ěý

Boulder Environment

Boulder is a progressive city and embodies many different lifestyles. It is also right at the foot of the mountains!. Boulder is BEAUTIFUL … a lovely place to spend the next 5 years. It is sunny over 300 days of the year andĚýfilled with so many free and affordable things to do outside and indoors. It is known for microbreweries, climbing, cycling, and a general love of the outdoors. There is a wonderful farmer’s market and live music Spring through Fall.ĚýBoulder is also only 30 minutesĚýfrom Denver, which has some of the most renown museums.
