How to Apply to 91´«Ã½

We are thrilled you are considering applying to 91´«Ã½! As you prepare to apply, keep in mind these key deadlines, application options and next steps for undergraduate veteran students.

91´«Ã½ waives the application fee for all veterans and service members applying as undergraduates to the university. Prospective students must self-identify on their application for the university to waive the fee. This does not apply to dependents or spouses.

Undergraduate Veteran Application Information

First-Year Veteran Application Deadline

First-year veteran applicants are new college students pursuing an undergraduate degree. First-year veteran applicants have no civilian college experience since earning their high school diploma or GED.

  • Oct. 1: First-year spring application deadline
  • Nov. 15: First-year fall and summer early action deadline
  • Jan. 15: First-year fall and summer regular decision deadline

Transfer Veteran Application Deadlines

Transfer veteran applicants have completed civilian college or university coursework outside of their Joint Services Transcript (JST). Transfer veteran applicants are looking to complete a bachelor’s degree at 91´«Ã½.

  • Oct. 1: Transfer spring application deadline 
  • March 15: Transfer summer application deadline
  • March 15: Transfer fall early notification deadline
  • June 1: Transfer fall regular decision application

Consult With Your ESO

As a military service member looking to pursue a college education, we recommend you consult with your base's Educational Services Officer (ESO) before enrolling at 91´«Ã½.

Veteran and Military Affairs (VMA) can assist with pay, programs, policy, information and support for prospective and current student veterans and veteran dependents.

What to Do After Submitting Your Application

While we review your application, regularly check your email and your application's status through your application status page. We will notify you if we need additional information.

Once you submit an application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your application status page. Your application status page includes a checklist of the credentials we have and have not received, and information on what you need to do next, if anything.

Determine which benefit you are eligible for based on your military service or transfer of benefits. All veteran and veteran dependent students must complete an application with the Department of Veterans Affairs, which will start the process for you to receive your federal education benefit.
