Good morning,
Starting today, academic program pages in the 2021鈥22 catalog will open for edits, with a target department/unit review deadline of Dec. 18. (All other catalog pages will open for edits in December.)
If you're the first reviewer in a page's workflow, you'll receive an automated email soon with a link to your approval queue (to access edits). Once you approve a page, the next reviewer in the workflow will be notified that the page is ready for their review.
As you prepare to review the catalog, please keep the following in mind:
See below for more information about workflows, faculty and course detail edits, virtual working sessions, degree audit review and program learning outcomes.

To those of you who submitted your catalog workflow updates to us by the Oct. 13 deadline鈥攖hank you! The workflows for your pages have been updated accordingly. If no updates were submitted for your pages, the workflows are the same as they were for the 2020鈥21 catalog.
While faculty listings and course descriptions are displayed in the catalog, a reminder that you cannot edit this information directly from your catalog queue. Instead, please submit the appropriate request:
You can find self-guided catalog support slides on our catalog production webpage (in the "91传媒" side panel). For additional support, virtual catalog working sessions are open to both new and returning catalog reviewers. with:
One-on-one virtual working sessions are available by appointment on select dates from Oct. 28鈥揇ec. 16.
A reminder that degree audits will be encoded based on program requirements and plan(s) of study as defined in the catalog. The degree audit team will review all academic program pages (including minors, certificates and graduate degrees). Programs that offer multiple tracks/options/emphases should list any differing requirements accordingly.
Questions about the difference between what to include on the requirements and plan of study tabs?
As a part of regular program review and ongoing campus accreditation efforts, the campus will continue to move toward asking each unit to specify what knowledge and skills students will gain during the course of a degree program.
The 2021鈥22 catalog will include a learning outcomes tab on each degree program page. If your unit has already crafted and approved its program learning outcomes, please plan to include them here. (If your unit already provided program learning outcomes in the catalog, they will be available on the page for your review and approval just like any other catalog content.)
For more information about creating program learning outcomes, see Writing Effective Learning Outcomes and contact the ODA Assessment group.

Greetings, catalog reviewers!
We're reaching out to you as we prepare to kick off the 2021鈥22 catalog production cycle.
Before we open up for edits, we need your help ensuring the workflows for your catalog pages are up to date. If you've had staffing or other changes that affect who should review your program or policy content in the catalog, would you please let us know? Just submit a workflow revision request.* If needed, you can also contact us to request a breakdown of current workflow configurations for your page(s).
Please submit any workflow updates by Monday, Oct. 12, so we can get them in place before edit access opens.
*If you review CMCI or undergraduate Engineering & Applied Science program pages in the catalog, please note that our team is working directly with Steve Jones and Mary Steiner on all catalog workflow updates for these colleges. (No need for you to submit your workflow update requests to us.)
We'll be offering virtual catalog working sessions this year, available to both new and returning reviewers. Session dates coming soon.
In the meantime, for help getting started or refreshing your memory, look for the "91传媒" panel on our catalog production webpage for help materials, including:
