Award Acceptance
- The Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) staff with Signature Authority to sign awards on behalf of the University.
- Signature authority delegations at CUÌýBoulder are designed to protect academic freedoms and limit risk, including ability to publish and the University’sÌýintellectual property. Delegation originates with The 91´«Ã½. Signature Authority is delegated to President Saliman and then to named individuals within the University.
- The Office of Contracts and Grants holds the delegation of signature authority for 91´«Ã½ research contracts and grants, and official sponsored project correspondence over the life of an award. This may include requests to the sponsor for:Ìý
- No-cost extensions
- Budget deviations
- Prior approval authorizations
- Other modifications to the terms of the agreement
In addition, OCG holds the delegation of signature authority for other research-related awards including:Ìý
- Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs)
- Data Transfer and Use Agreements (DTUAs)
- Non-disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs)
- Service Agreements
