Liora Halperin gives "Israel Studies Today" Lecture at University of Washington
, Assistant Professor of History and Jewish Studies,spoke about her research at the University of Washington in Seattle on January 25, 2016 as part of a new series at the at UWcalled "," which features new approaches in the field of Israel Studies. Halperin's talk,“Beyond Hebrew: Zionism and the Politics of Language Diversity in Palestine and Israel” reflects the theme of the lecture series by going beyond standard divisions in the field of Israel Studies to articulate new perspectives on the history of the region. Halperin aso gave presentations drawing from her recent book at UCLA and UC Santa Barabara.
