Official functions over $10,000 or $115/person or those where alcohol will be served

If alcohol will be served at the event, regardless of the total cost of the event, please select “Yes” for the question “Is alcohol being served at the event?” By confirming this, the requisition will be automatically routed to the Campus Controller’s Office for review and approval. For all official functions with alcohol, please upload a copy of the completed official function form, including the departmental approval, to the requisition. Additionally, for official functions with a total cost exceeding $10,000 or a cost of greater than $115/person, officer approval is required in addition to the departmental approval. The forms no longer need to be separately routed to the Campus Controller’s Office for approval, as this will take place directly in Marketplace.��

Advanced payments over $10,000

For advanced payments exceeding $10,000, the process has also been updated to remove the need for the “paper” advanced payment form. Instead, input all required information directly within the requisition. The requisition will then be routed to the Controller’s Office for approval, streamlining the approval workflow and eliminating the need for additional paper-based approvals. When completing the form, input the total amount that will be advanced over the term of the contract.��
