Elena Diaz-Bilello is the Associate Director atÌýCADRE andÌýcollaborates withÌýstate agencies,Ìýschool districts,Ìýand educational organizationsÌýtoÌýdevelop practical and soundÌýapproaches for addressing assessment and educational policyÌýchallenges. ÌýShe draws on her background in measurement, evaluation and policyÌýto help design, implementÌýand evaluateÌýeducationalÌýreforms and initiatives, andÌýto developÌýcomprehensive assessment strategiesÌýto foster deeper learning for all students.ÌýÌý

Prior to joining CADRE in 2015, Elena was a Senior Associate at the National Center for the Improvement of Educational Assessment providing technical assistance and guidance to stateÌýagencies, the U.S. Department of Education, national organizations, and school districtsÌýin the areas of designing validity and program evaluationÌýstudies andÌýimproving uponÌýaccountability andÌýassessment practices. Ìý She also worked as a program evaluator for the Denver Public Schools and served as a consultant to theÌýColorado Department of Education.Ìý
