Michelle Ramsahoye is a third-year PhD student in the Computer Science department, whose research focuses on deep-learning applications within bioinformatics, specifically bacteriophage proteomics. Michelle earned their ASc degrees in Biology and Physics from Harford Community College and a BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Their research experiences have varied, involving genomics, chemistry, biology, art, computer science, public policy, and public outreach.
